Now I'm really hooked on Arcane. That incredibly voice from The Expanse

Arcane is wonderful... a visual feast and so many derivatives.
They need to do Peridido Station
Perdido Street Station (New Crobuzon ...

Arcane is phenomenal
What makes Arcane a masterpiece?
This is all contained within Arcane's stunning animation, brilliant character arcs, exciting action, and excellent writing, solidifying a story based on a game with no real plot to be one of the best ever told in Western animation. 22 hours ago Arcane is such a Unbelievable Masterpiece

It's not just a show; it's a masterpiece
that could easily go down as one of the greatest in entertainment history.

Very good article

and another
damn that's a lot of money to spend.

Got my wife hooked on Landman. Another Taylor Sheridan creation. Get the feeling itā€™s not a stretch for Billy-Bob on this one.

Itā€™s witty and interesting.

Arcane Season 2 - every episode leaves my head spinning. Nice on the bigger swcreen with HDR but it was fine on the 13" Retina screen with 500 nit screen too. šŸæ
Wish they could have afforded the entire 5 Seasons...but then The Expanse was cut short initially and then....magic.
Still cost and time per episode is just insane $3 million per. Jinx is an iconic character.

Will try Landman next

I loved watching it when it came out, "1899" from the same producers isn't bad either. Still a shame it never got more than on e season.

To keep track on DARK they made a great website to help.

It allows youto select season/episode for a "spoiler free" experience.

The Dark series is amazing. But closer to the end it gets really complicated and twisted, I end up making notes to make sure I follow the plot and that crazy timeline :)

Gonna take me a while to unpack Arcane final.

On to Senna
Very strong reviews on RT but mixed elsewhere
Iā€™d like to watch Rush again;

When Niki Lauda first saw 'Rush' he said "Sh*t! That's really me."
NIce to see Lauda well portrayed in Senna. I thought the actor playing Lauda in Rush was simply phenomenal

Postscript....wonderful story telling - very engaging and The Making of is excellent
Senna is a must watch - superbly done
Brilliant work and The Making of is also extremely well done.

This multiple episode - even seasons - story telling is easily surpassing movies in my viewā€¦movies too often seem compressed by comparison. The scale of what they undertook recreating this work is awe inspiring.

Watching Jon Bennet now - amazing that has not been solved.

What an indictment of Boulder Colorado law enforcement and the sick media coverage.
They KNEW no one in the family was implicated because of DNA evidence and concealed it. šŸ¤¬
the family went through hell for no good reason....

Much more traditional Anime but high reviews - not sure yet - nothing like Arcane

The Eminence in Shadow

2022 ā€§ Action ā€§ 2 seasons

Thanks for that - looking for something to binge
Finally finished To Catch a Smuggler on Disney ....very very long series and intriguing.

Watching Season 2 of Tokyo Vice....brilliant. I was in Tokyo for a few weeks in the early 80s and they nailed the look and feel. Lots of good memories.
need to chase down the book it is based on ....excellent casting.
Did not know the lead actor also wrote the book.

Finished up 3 seasons of The Tower (they are very short, like 4 episodes)

Now getting into Star Trek Lower Decks S5 (I think it's the last one for the series)

You are correct. šŸ¤Ŗ
A couple episodes cover off a biker gang Jake is sent to cover.

Fair number of motorcycles in the series including for one of the leads who takes gangly Jake on a pillion ride.

Found it interesting how they turned Tokyo back in time so it became instantly familiar for me
