TV shows currently watching

Money Heist on Netflix is excellent. It is Spanish with subtitles. There are 5 parts and 8 episodes or more in each part. It is very well done.

My wife started watching American Nightmare on Netflix yesterday. I could hear it while surfing in the other room, and it started off like it was going to be just another unsolved crime documentary with everyone offering their opinion as to what happened (which I hate), but by the second chapter I was hooked and had to watch to the end. It was worth it.

Kaleidoscope on NetFlix very good.

The Outlaws on Prime (2 Seasons) also very good.
Christopher Walken & Stephen Merchant

Still 30 on the deck at 3 am 🥵 - really sucks but enjoyed watching Break Point Seaon 2 on Netflix and learned a fair bit about some of the players that were/are in the current AO.
Was nice to see the only player to win a final in the first season become the first woman to win back to back this year.

Men's Australian Open 2024 final today and will wonders never cease ...no Djokovich....after a 10 year run of wins.

Also looking forward to the next season of Drive to Survive F1 Coming up soonish

Season 3 of True Detective. Very well done. Not predictable and enjoy the mixing up of not just 2 but 3 timelines but in a way that isn’t confusing. Looking forward to Season 4 with Jodie Foster.

Hazbin Hotel.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like it. It’s a cartoon. And adult cartoon… that’s a musical…

Premise is - Satan’s daughter opens a hotel to help convert sinners / demons and help them gain access to heaven. Thing is, every year, angels descend into hell and slaughter the sinners and demons. Angels, basically, are ********.

IT’s a completely absurd concept that has complerely sucked me in…. Eesh…

I'd be all in if it weren't BOTH a musical and animation.

Over tennis for a bit and on to golf.
No matter what sport it takes some money for parents to get their kids into the elite stream tho I do think they are merit based.
This was exceptional tho .. a dad with bit time belief in himself and his daughters.

They sure went for realism...not fond of the 40's movie look tho.
We'll see...it has lots of room to develop. Band of Brothers had a slow start too but I don't recall the grainy look. 🍿

Watched the first episode last night. It seems well filmed. Very graphic. Good job there was no social media with first person cam footage available during WWII as they would have never gotten any pilots.

Give it a whirl...
It's a really well done concept - and it's not all musical through and through... maybe 1 song per episode, and the lyrics tend to be extremely dark.

Watched to episode 4 of Hazbin Hotel.

Wow… just wow….

somebody else watch this and let me know your thoughts please!!!!

p.s. viewable on Amazon or by torrent download.

If you want to feel a (lot) better about living in Canada watch the documentary “Guatemala: Meet the Maras” about Guatemalan street gangs.

It’s not super polished but the documentary crew do get access to street gangs and the police and it’s pretty eye opening. Especially from the point of view of the families of gangsters and also from regular people such as bus drivers (one of the most dangerous professions as if the boss doesn’t pay extortion payments then the drivers are targeted).

Going back to shows from before I was born. Currently watching the "Twilight Zone" clone called "One Step Beyond", that was likely the inspiration for the song by the same name, by Madness. Thoroughly enjoying these "true horror stories." On Tubi.
