Went back to Fubar, it's growing on me. That female lead is easy on the eyes, but also watching Arnold performace is quite impressive. If you look beyond the hammed up accent, the voice, and him being a muscle head, the guy delivers. Pacing and delivery of lines are spot on.

It gets better as it goes along. Even the curly hair comedian is kinda annoying at the start but she gets better.
The nerdy girl that comes along after a few episodes is easy on the eyes as well ;)

Finished this up, moving onto Arnold the documentary, seems fitting.

BTW series was shot in Ontario/Toronto, I kinda felt some of the backgrounds looked familiar. Then I spotted a Green P parking sign blurred in the background. No wonder Arnold was gushing about Toronto a while back.

My wife spotted the Toronto backdrop also. I had no clue.
The Arnie doc is good also.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds had a Toronto-based episode this season. They actually had a joke about the shooting location being a stand-in for an American city.

"Looks like New York City"
"No, this is Toronto!"

The sound stage that they've been using, all along, is in Mississauga. They used Ontario Place as a stand-in for alien buildings in season 1.

I found a Youtube channel that seems to have all, or at least the majority of episodes of the OECA/TVO genre discussion series "Prisoners of Gravity", hosted by Rick Green of "The Frantics" and "The Red Green Show." I think I'll rewatch it over the weekend. If interested search for Teddog3000 on Youtube.

me too - bit of a slow start...and I like Tennant 🍿
...
needed this for a lift - well done and they say based on the actual stories

finally got to the Bear season 2 as it came out on Disney+.
hit it out of the park for me, they somehow topped the first season. dug the individual character episodes.

best show IMO in a long time. no gimmicks, action or CGI. even the story is fairly basic.
just top notch script, acting, cinematography and score. amazing execution.

I hate to admit this but I have been watching a lot of WWE wrestling on Sportsnet now.
Have not watched it since the 80's but I am really enjoying it. Just silly entertainment, perhaps just what I need...
