TV shows currently watching

Watching both the Terminal List and the Night Agent now. They're both ok with the nod to Terminal List for being more entertaining.

I look for shows on Netflix that is rated MA and has nudity or violence. Preferably both. I add them to my list, then NEVER watch them because I alway have two young kids that follow me around the house. Therefore, I alway like something laid-back and easy to watch tell the brats are in bed, at which time I'M tired and just go to bed.
I'm currently enjoying Disjointed. Funny, light, and the "adult" jokes go over the kids' heads.

Uh oh. I'm just getting into Shadow and Bone now.
Where "Carnival Row" has a decidedly UK aesthetic, "Shadow and Bone" leans a little more toward Russian. They're both Euro-centric Steampunk, at their base, but "Shadow and Bone" goes in more heavily for magic. I found what should be the main storyline to be OK but the parts following The Crows, who are a small time gang, are quite good.

Night Agent is decent entertainment, but the writing and acting is pretty banal. It reminds me of 24. Without Dionne’s wife. :)

Still watching Star Trek: Picard.
Season 3 now, Episode 7 of 10. It's very entertaining and well done. Lots of "Next Generation" and "Voyager" cast integration.

"Star Trek - The Next Generation" season 8.

My wife loves those older ‘true crime’ series…I’m worried she’s taking notes and secretly plotting my demise.

The film stars Kristoffer Joner, Pål Sverre Hagen and Ine Marie Wilmann. It is Norway's entry for Best International Feature at the 95th Academy Awards.
on Netflix ...slow but engaging ....my kind of movie/series.
3 million pop in Norway in 1940, 3,000 mechant ships - they lost 20% of them and women were serving on them even on the Murmansk run.

"The Power" on Prime - I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Young women, all over the world, start to develop the power to project electricity. Three episodes released, so far, and they're starting to deal with the world-wide political ramifications of there being hundreds of thousands of young women out there who start to realize that they don't have to take any crap. I'm just waiting for people to come out of the woodwork and scream about how terribly "woke" this series is.

way over the top ..... 🍿

Actually quite enjoyable so far. (y)

Ugly in the end...(n) could have been good ...was vile

I'll go back to the Night Agent for sure ...nicely quirky and well cast. Outlast tho has my attention....Hunting bows, knives, axes and little or no rules plus literally life threatening conditions .....what could go wrong. There a couple of real ******** including one women who should be locked up. Fair bit of Hunger Games but in real life.

Finished up Shadow and Bone, was ok, S1 was better as it seemed to have a lot of potential they didn't carry over to S2. The crew was probably the better part of it and could be spun out on it's own. Also ended kinda weird.

Anyone watch Mayor of Kingstown, thinking to check it out.

Finished Night Agent ....was decent ...set up for another season. Watching Survivor Australia in quantity.

Liking Mayor of Kingstown, shot in Ontario. Hamilton looks like Hamilton... Kingston Pen as well.

Like the lead very much ( hope he recovers ) but steered clear as seems depressing. Maybe the Ontario setting will offset that.

Bernadette tuned into "The Marvelous Miss Maisel"last nite. My first reaction was, no no no. Not a chick flick!
It's really good.
