1923 was good, I couldn't stop watching it.

Now what to watch, will have to go back up the thread. Oh Last of Us looks ready to binge.
ya 1923 is good!

Ya that fits for me - like both stars and reading FDR which covers the same period in part.

Good start ...Ford knows how to growl. 🍿
I notice all the westerns these days feature round corrals...ever since The Horse Whisperer.....funny that.
Good movie, better book, true story.

1923 decent writing and Mirren is wonderful. (y)
Fair bit soapy but setting and actors overcome that.

This is better than The English I think - bigger sweep. Reminds me of 7 Years in Tibet in the historical aspect.

Just finished: A Spy Among Friends (TV Mini Series 2022) - IMDb

"In England in 1963, Nicholas Elliott works for MI6 but is left in turmoil when he learns his close friend and colleague Kim Philby had been secretly working as a double agent for the KGB and has defected to the Soviet Union." with Guy Pearce & Damian Lewis.

Enjoyed it, but as a I warned my wife, with all the cast, who's a traitor/not a traitor & german/russian subtitles, it's one you need to pay attention to.

The Delorean doc on Netflix is eye opening. I had no idea the backstory on that car.
I never found it an attractive looking car. There’s mention in the doc from someone in the car business saying they think it’s the sexiest car available then a few minutes later in one shot you can see a 69-70 Chevrolet SS black with white stripes in the background and it looks way better imo.

I saw one in person, once, when I worked at the old Terminal 1 parking lot back in college. It is a nice looking car. For gull-wing door cars, however, I prefer both the '56 Mercedes 300SL and the '74 Bricklin SV-1 (made in New Brunswick).

Trying to stay with Itchyboots. But I'm tired of her ineptitude with anything mechanical.
If you are going to travel the planet safely, you need to have simple skills. And she has none. I'll watch the others when I'm not refreshing my Skydive ep's on YouTube.

Caught up with the ocean race and the motorcycle bloggers.
Saw this and have not watched in a while
The crab fishery in Alaska collapsed so one is switching to Norway and others switching catch 🍿
We saw the boats in their summer harbour

Watching The Cleaning Lady S2, it's ok not great. Mostly for the scenery. Holding me until I find the next thing.

Back story on the lead of 1883 is very interesting. Quite the tale.

Apparently there are five spin offs from Yosemite. Good bingeing for the remains of the wet season here.

33 knots nearing Cape Horn

Enjoying this tale ...

Caio! We are Timo&Jo, an Italian & English couple with countless ocean miles under our belts, We're refitting an ex Vendée Globe Open 60 race boat originally designed & built & raced by famous Hungarian sailor Nándor Fa. He competed in her in the 1992 Vendée Globe (round the world single handed race known as “the Everest of the seas”), finishing 5th, becoming the first non-frenchman to finish. We are currently in Fiji giving this old gladiator a new lease on life, converting her to a performance family cruiser, which we'll need to make both dog and baby proof! We’re planning to set sail again in Oct 2022, so with limited time&money we have plenty of challenges ahead to turn our dreams into reality&get back on the water! If you've thought about taking the family sailing around the world....have a virtual test run.
The little boy is adorable.

I saw the very first Survivor way back when and followed for a while and enjoyed it. I saw the first Survivor in Australia and was shocked at how ragged that bunch was at the end. Then I moved to the area very near where it was held and understood....was a learning experience for the producers as well.

Took a free week with Paramount to watch 1923 then 1883 and caught the current season of Survivor and just finished enjoying that. Bunch of interesting and a couple of really inspiring characters....and some super twists(y)
I like the fact they do the whole thing in Fiji now- ...no delay going to New York. Good move. 43 seasons, there were a few insane occurences in this one that out topped any of them.

I'll see if I can fit the previous season in my freebie period.

Thoughts on Itchy Boots new season so far @MacDoc ?

Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com

"Class of '07" on Prime - It's sort of "Lord of the Flies", but comedy, with 30-something year old women. Emily Browning, from the movies "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and "Sucker Punch", has developed some comedic chops, somewhere along the way. Quite enjoying it.

I'll bite. Trying hard to stay enthusiastic. Sand, sand and more sand. Some of Morocco was good, but it's getting boring and her mechanical ineptitude is tiresome. She couldn't straighten out a bent shift lever. Really?
