I’ll just assume you didn’t watch the wire when it came out..Breaking Bad was way more engaging imo.

Wire is part documentary, part Shakespearean tragedy, part TV show.
It changed the way I think about things




Watching tokyo vice now, way too entertaining.

Wendell Pierce who played Bunk in The Wire just showed up in season 2 of Ray Donovan. Awesome sauce.
 
Finished S4 of Killing Eve. It was meh. The last 2 seasons didn't go anyplace new and the ending was blah.

And being a fictional TV show takes away from it being a masterpiece? 🤔
 
Just started watching Halo. Nor sure if I like it. The effects are pretty good, the storyline is developing but there’s always been something about films/series made about video games that turn me off.

I’m a video game fan and I’ve avoided watching this. Don’t want to be disappointed. 😬

It’s even quirkier than previous seasons if you can believe that.
Eve and Villanelle are still great characters.

How do they handle the “baddies” in the show? I always felt they were very cartoon-like in the game. Part of why I never got into the game I think.

I never played Halo but I guess these are the aliens….they are suitably brutish and cruel in the series. Scary if you’re a kid.

As a species we seem to be inherently good at messing up good things.
 
Watched Vikings Valhalla recently. It was ok, better then the last few seasons of Vikings, but the new characters didn't have much charisma.
