the solution to this is easy if its a 4 way intersection.
turn right, then do a u-turn.

turn right, then do a u-turn.

This thread comes up monthly if not weekly. The sensors are not weight sensitive, they are electromagnetic. You can get a magnet from an old hard drive and attach it to the bottom of you bike for an easy fix. I've heard it works better than the kickstand or the starter motor.

It is based on a weight sensor. Anything over 800lbs will trig the loop and it will change. I have already contacted city hall to open a by-law allowing bikes to treat red likes as four-way stops like many other places around the world. I am still waiting for them to get back to me and once I have go go-ahead I will set up a petition form to get them to pass the by-law.
getting off an operating motor vehicle is to push the cross walk button is illegal...
It is illegal to get off the bike and push the button for the crosswalk.
Which is all inapplicable when it comes to a vehicle that is already stopped for a red light. Also, nothing in that refers to "getting off the bike". If you can get off your bike and go over to a walk button without interfering with the movement of other traffic, and be back and ready to go when the light does turn green, you will not get ticketed.
It shouldn't if it's in neutral.I think my engine stops if I put the kickstand down.
Incorrect. U-turns can be made near an intersection if done safely, unless explicitly prohibited by a "No U-Turn" sign or presence of a raised curb or traffic median, or unless any of the following conditions are present, in which case you just go a bit further down the road.Illegal. You can't make a u-turn near an intersection.
143. No driver or operator of a vehicle upon a highway shall turn the vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction when,
(a) upon a curve where traffic approaching the vehicle from either direction cannot be seen by the driver of the vehicle within a distance of 150 metres;
(b) on a railway crossing or within 30 metres of a railway crossing;
(c) upon an approach to or near the crest of a grade where the vehicle cannot be seen by the driver of another vehicle approaching from either direction within 150 metres; or
(d) within 150 metres of a bridge, viaduct or tunnel where the driver’s view is obstructed within such distance. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 143.

Fine... You get a parking ticket then: If you leave your bike it's considered parking.

Technically, you're stopped, as in for a red light that prohibits further forward movement until it changes, and which won't do so until something triggers a change, as in you pushing the walk button. You won't be getting a parking ticket for that.
