Its back.
He's going to need to update his log book.
he hadn't attempted to kill anymore yet, so there is no reason for them to think he would. A truck that big out of control in the other hand it will be luck if someone doesn't get hurtso you just keep letting him drive until he kills someone?

sounds like you work in the industry?
definitely didnt steal it for the cargo? that flat bed was empty. unless the dope was hiddin in the truck or underneath trailer!
Should they use force and endanger others when all he is doing is refusing to stop? He is not driving like a madman. They are doing the right thing.
He was on the highway for over 5 hours with other traffic coming on and off the highway like nothing was going on. At one point the OPP actually said that its not a chase lol
This was somebody that stole a truck, then refused to stop for police. He could have killed many people at those speeds and he demonstrated that he had no regard for the law. That truck should have been stopped withing the first 10 minutes of that pursuit going on by force.
Thankfully it ended the way it did, but what if he ran down a family in a minivan? Would your opinion change then?
We pay these guys 100,000+$ a year to protect us from these sorts of people, not to stand behind a radar gun.
Seems like it was handled very poorly in my opinion.
I agree with the OPP not stopping him and waiting him out. He couldn't go anywhere and didn't seem like he would try to do something to endanger someone, but forcing him or provoking him might have changed that.
This isn't a hollywood flick and won't give you the jollies you want. Get over it. They did a good job keeping the public safe.
one of those beautiful 60,000 dollar suvs we as taxpayers pay for should have gotten in front of the truck and unloaded a magazine into the front end of the truck.
The highway should have been shut down for a couple kms, one of those beautiful 60,000 dollar suvs we as taxpayers pay for should have gotten in front of the truck and unloaded a magazine into the front end of the truck. Chase would have ended pretty quickly after that...
Oh but then we would have to complain that $60 000 of our tax dollars went down the drain as it got pushed off the road. They really shouldnt have waited it out, would have made the news more interesting.
