Is anyone else interested in doing this track day? I'd like to be able to compare myself to, and learn from some of the more experienced riders.

Most experienced riders will be going to Grand Bend that weekend for first race weekend, you picked a bad time to get help
 
hey raymon. i think we should just go to grand bend on like a thursday as the racers show up. this way theres a chance of you ending up in the yellow or green group for once rather than the red like the last time u went.

I think its like 125 to pay when you show up.

Ya I'd definitely enjoy a challenge for once! I thought you didn't want to ride track? Are you using the fz6? Ok let's do a Thursday session next month.

I'm in for the 23rd at TMP.... doing 1-9pm and bringing 4 or 5 friends (riders)....

Damn is round 1 really in a month. Maybe i should dig my bike out.

lol, probably a good idea - time just creeps fast, I am starting bicycle riding tomorrow, now that is kind of warm ..sorta

Is bicycling a good workout for having more stamina on the bike? Legs or what?

Lots (if not all) of the top riders train on a bicycle, Ben Spies even has his own cycling team. MX riders train heavily on bikes and they're in as good if not better shape than any athlete in any sport.

Huh, interesting..I guess I will be removing the dust from my bicycle then.

In my personal experience it not only increased my stamina which for track days and racing specially is essential but it made it a lot more fun to ride. Remember that you require leg and core strength to move from side to side and when you get tired you are not able to turn the bike properly and i find reactions get slow, sloppy.

Overall it will makes you a much better rider.

Before Bike riding, I couldn't stay out for more than 6 laps at a time, after Bicycle training I was able to do an endurance race (42 laps in 1 hr aprox). Big difference before and after
 
Oh baby, all signed up for 1pm till 9pm! I got extra trailer (and people) space leaving from whitby so if anyone between whitby and TMP needs a ride just lemme know!

Hopefully my quickshift sensor arrives soon so I can install my GP shift adapter... gonna need to practice with it before the track day FOR SURE!

TechSpec snakeskin arrived, just need to get it installed :D
