Toronto Motorcycle Show - February 17-19 2023

$45 Full synthetic liquimoly gets me everytime... er, I get it everytime.
Also got some gloves from GP and kangaroo meat (as a gift, although I sorta wanted to get the venison or wild boar for me...)
Sitting on all the bikes was nice n fun, far better than January. The $2200+ Honda Navi was super cool to see something like that. Little upset that the offerings for cruisers, outside of Harleys and Rebels is pretty diminished now. Everyone seems to be staying in their market I suppose.
Sitting on a 2022 TW200 farm bike with the exact same tach and turn signals from the 80s was also great.
The White R7 was reminiscent of @Soulcatcher668 Duc, albeit spinning and with a bunch of lighting and Yamaha logos.
The MotoIntro was also very cool to see, free sample riding school for entry, although I kinda miss the stunt show.
The Clutch/MotoSocial back end was also an interesting thing, very different vibe to the entire placd, lots of cool restos and customs. Also lots of white claws and custom paint jobs.
Didn't stop by the GTAM booth unfortunately, although I did see it on the way out :(
Good quality show, can't wait for riding season.

Where - in the underground or surface lots?
I have two buddies driving in and they will need parking.

Thanks!
Car Parking was free for me today in the surface lots south of the building. The guy at the booth said it was free for the show after 5. Dunno about other days.

Show was pretty good despite BMW , Kawasaki, Ducati missing.

Great displays from the manufacturers who participated and interesting looking E Motorcycles from Can-Am

They had the 1000GT and the 800s.

The GT was pretty sweet.

Have to admit the 1000 GT is exceptional value at $18k including side cases. But the cable clutch hmmm.

The “P” Strom still looks like a Vstrom.

I was at the booth when someone tipped over the Busa !

Last time I was in at Twin City Cycle in KW they had one on the floor.

I thought the show was a really good one surprisingly, it was kind of a niche show for anyone into motorcycle adventure of any kind. I particularly liked the stage shows, although a $17 sandwich was uncalled for.

The HD booth was full of millennials (no grey hair) so my opinion carries the weight of a fresh kleenex but they were more interested in the big twins.
Goes to show their change in marketing and new models is working to attract a new customer base.
