Install the faucet and sink before placing the counter top. You’ll be able to tighten with channel locks. Way easier than looking up. Into a dark narrow space.

If the counter is already in bit they didn't install the sink, I would do faucet first and then sink. Same reasoning.

Countertop was already installed. I bought a basin wrench but the new faucet had a plastic screw in sleeve thingy that tightens it (no nut) so it wasn’t needed.
Sink and faucet installed as well as a over-the-range microwave. Inlaws are happy with the new kitchen and appliances.

I got to say, I'm not 100% sure what that plumbing wrench is used for...

If we're sticking with plumbing=

Not sure how I got by without this. Cartridges get so seized, pulling them out with vice grips is a pain in the ass...

Cartridge puller paid for itself the first time I used it.

This is a piston ring install tool
That is a piston ring compressor... made for a pressed together crank, like a GS750/1000, where the pistons have to go in from the bottom
