I saw some "racing" in the hotshoe group, and it was very entertaining (sorry, no idea who they all were). I saw one really good clean pass and the guy that was passed (around turn 9) in a good dual pitted and never came out again (maybe too many tears in his helmet and he couldn't see:p).

I have no idea who it was - had white / black leathers and was booking it at the end of the day (red group) - just amazing to watch - was running solo.

Best day I've had this season (only 3rd time out) - but Fawaz needs a timer:rolleyes:. The green group got shorted a few times and it was noticed by all that ran in that group:(.

Looking forward to any posted videos.
 
In post #21, R1Guy was in the black/white leathers (far left) in the red group.

Yes they can run both at the same time. They had a huge drag race event the day I was marshalling for the GTAM day.

It was great to watch. I think Eden recently put down a 1:19 on his 125 so I use that as a yardstick of fast on a smaller bike and the track record is 1:12 or 1:13?????

I've only been doing track as a weekend punter for 3 years (still a noob) but it was clear to me these guys were on a smoking pace from what I've seen in the past at TMP. The entry and exit speeds were acutally heart stopping to watch.

Not to pry, but can I ask what the best times were? Also, I think someone had one of Fawaz's 250s in the green session in the p.m. (red and white leathers) - I just followed to see the lines - I could not keep up in the infield - the entry speeds were smooth and fast (for me).

The guy on Fawaz's 125 in the green group was my brother. The 125's are just amazing in the corners but get killed in the straights and he's pretty good on that bike. I was on the supermoto also in the green group. First time using that bike on a track but it was fun. I have a short video I'll probably post shortly.

Sorry Mike. I misunderstood. Thought you said you had one of your fastest laps. You and Dean were burning up the track though.
 
Chasing a skinny guy on a litre bike really drops your laptimes. Im gunning for you Mike. ; )
