Tire warmer recommendations?

Bickle, I haven't purchased the tyrsox yet, but if I manage to secure some more funds for warmers for the spring, I'd readily get one of yours. However, need to ask this as it might turn to be a deal breaker for me---I have one of those clunker gennys Champion 1500, which is rated at 1080 W continuous power. Do you think that's going to be enough to power your warmers properly with it (assuming the genny actually works, haha)?

We use just over 900 watts a set. In comparison others use about 1500 watts. Some gennies do not switch or shut off. They just cut the power supply down. So in fact you could run 1500 watt warmers on some 1000 watt generators. But you will not be getting full power delivery. So they won"t run as hot.

My experience with Bickle Warmers.
Bought a used set 5 or six yrs ago. They where a little beat up when I got them. Worked very well for 5 yrs. Then they became intermittent. Wiring issues. Bickle fixed them. Worked for another year. And now used for backup Warmers. Ordered a new set of Bickle Tire Warmers late in 2010. Worked very well until early this season and the rear had a small issue. Brought to John. Gave me a loner until he had a look at it and then made me a new one when when it was determined it had a small defect. I have not spent anytime at a race weekend or trackday without working Warmers because John Bickle is Canadian, local and at the track. His product is made here. You can't get that service from stuff made off shore. Try to get a replacement or loner at the track from the Chickenhawk guys.
Buy local and from the people who support our sport.

100% My Bic warmers are damn near antique and work perfect. John has fixed them a couple times when I tore out the cord. There is only one warmer. If a Canadian company makes a product that does the job for a good price, is at the track to support his product and has countless testimonials why do we keep having this conversation?

I have been using the Woodcraft dual temp warmers for 3 full seasons now and I have never had a problem with them.

I got a new set this year to have spares and I thought the rear was not working. It turns out that it was and I should just read the instructions...... But Woodcraft sent me a loaner set while I sent mine back to be checked.

I had a great experience with Bickle warmers.... I bought an older/used pair (3 years old I think) and the front failed on me in May. He couldn't get it fixed for the June race so he gave me a loaner, and I got my warmer back two weeks after the June races.

I''m picking up another set of Bickles this weekend (older set didn't fit over the modern sized slicks).
