I had another question to everyone here:
Is it reasonable to have these kind of damages with sliders installed?
The guy is saying that he had sliders on the bike (I didn't pay attention to it at first) and when I met up with him again to inspect the damage they were gone.
He said that the left one got broken so he took both of them off.
EDIT:
I just got off the phone with the CRC.
They confirmed that collisions don't get reported to insurance unless an owner specifically asks for it.
Also, there is no regular sharing of information with insurers. The CRC might call the insurance to validate if a policy exists but to quote the Sgt. there, "it is rare that they call us to ask if an accident occured".
