Completely the opposite of my comment above, Mina's lease takeover looks like a fun car and may fit your budget (although obviously a lease not owned).

Awesome car. Would of been around $90,000 new. I doubt the original poster would want to take that lease over.

standard warranty is done at 80K I think
any extended warranty on it?

Got it at Pfaff audi. Full warranty til 80k and 100k pt. Car looked brand new and full service history. Looks well taken care of but with pre owned it's always a gamble. When I seen the car I knew it was a good deal.

Edit. Man sounds like I'm such a vw fanboy. Lol but I was in the same situation as op. 1.5 years of reading and watching reviews led me to the gti as the best all around IMO

I've got mixed emotions about that thing....all I hear is 'all show and no go' but I'm sure it goes well with that turbo. I should ask my neighbour as he's got one but we've never chatted about the car. Mind you his is 'riced' out fairly well and is annoyingly loud. But I guess that just means I'm old.

I thought about one years ago, but that was before the turbo was available and the price was very wrong for what it was. IIRC, they were asking more money for an accent with a body kit than they were for the elantra. Obviously the availability of used turbo models may eliminate my concerns.
