I went from a RF1000 to a HJC FS-15. Finish and attention to detail is a bit better on the Shoei like the vent tabs feel a bit more solid but in terms of fit and padding material on the inside it's pretty much a wash. Can't use either helmet without earplugs on the highway so no difference to me in terms of noise.
