the problem with music of today, is simple. Most of it is crap.

for every one or two " good " artists, there are 25 crap ones especially when you get these Morons Like LMFAO.

then theres the Dance music crap like this deadmouse guy. Totally souless noise.

i'll take old school rappers over this new **** anyday of the week. LL cool J, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster flash, Public enemy, run DMC and the Beastie Boys

I think hip hop lost it's edginess but even the some of the commercial rappers are good rappers. Just because an artist isn't rapping about political stuff, doesn't mean that rapper is wac. It has always been about lyrics and how clever a dude spits; Drake is clever and pretty honest, I think he's dope.

Member hiphop started out as party music. Rapper made it political because of the Reagan years now Diddy is a almost a billionaire, times have changed.
