The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Sold!

Have you thought about putting yours back to stock (as much as can be easily done in an afternoon) and selling the goodies separately?
Honestly no I haven't put much thought into that.

The only parts I can quickly swap back to OEM:
- OEM Exhaust
- Remove GIVI windscreen
- OEM Seat
- Remove Power Commander V

Not planning on swapping the wheels or handlebar back to the original but I do have the both available separately.

I don't know. Doing that will probably mean that he's throwing the stuff out in a few years after it's been kicking around in the way.

Unless the bits will fit a decent range of years then the pool of prospective buyers could be a bit small.

I saw this one at GP Bikes last weekend. The unloved Honda DN-01. I've no idea if it's a good deal, but at least it's interesting.

Maybe @MacDoc should buy it. He likes scooters, doesn't he?

I personally think it's beautiful. It looks way better in person - that picture doesn't do it justice.

I am a DN-01 defender... but.

The problem with seeing it person is that you realize it is about half as tall as you think it is

The low height is an integral part of the design though - both in terms of accessibility, and in terms of the aesthetics. The latter helps give the bike that long, streamlined look.

If I recall correctly, the stated seat height is not much different than, say, a Street Glide or Road King.

I am also in the small minority that is intrigued (and likes) DN01, NM4 kind of motorcycles. I am actually tempted to go take a look at this one- but the spare parts/maintenance practicality is what will keep me away

Why not list those parts now, even though they're still on the bike, and see if they get any interest? Especially given that you don't currently have the bike listed for sale anyway.

On a lot of bikes it makes more sense to take them off and sell them separately if you want to get the most $$$$ back you can.

And if you don't care to get the most $$$$ back that you can, apparently you just have to list it for $6k and it'll go in 24 hours lol
