Well, offering 200 is not out of line, he will probably come back at $500. It is what it is. thing is, after you get it running and road worthy, it will only be worth $1k.
Those are some of the best V twins Honda ever made. I have a similar one (600cc version) in my Transalp (1987) and it is honestly runs as if it is a 2022 fuel injected bike. It is pretty unbelievable.
