What do you guy think of this bike and price?
I've done some basic research on these bikes and pricing is all over the place. Seems like COVID rigging pricing.
Anyhow something about this bike appeals to me, just think the pricing might be a bit high with the age and mileage.

Seems too expensive for the price, but who the hell knows in this Covid world. My biggest issue with that bike is those panniers are near useless at ~20L a side, think of the size of a standard shopping bag.

For reference, I sold my '06 Strom 650 with better farkles and 80k km for $2600 3'ish years ago and had a hard time selling it.

Yes I am in the same boat about the price. And ya COVID world has everything gone wacky.
They don't mention saftied or certified, not sure how much that is worth anyway.
The bags don't bother me so much, it's a start, at least they open at the top and not the sides.

Fair price, and the best ever vstrom color. Check for ABS, it wasn't standard till 2015.

2015 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 ABS for sale. $7850.00 obo | Sport Touring | Mississauga / Peel Region | Kijiji. Has laced wheels, hard cases. This isn't a bad deal either, just reduced to $7200, you can probably get it for under $7k.

As for covid pricing... I have this same bike, 2016 model. Bought it used in 2018 for $5.5k with 17k on the clock. Came with bags, top box, centerstand, Saddlemen ADV seat, Madstadt shield.

Caa won't pick up unless it is plated in your name and broken down.

Not quite. As long as the plate is on the bike ( any plate) and you have your caa card in hand - it's going on the flatbed. Most drivers towing motorcycles are cool guys, last one asked me how much I paid for the bike because he liked it. He knew it's not a breakdown but transaction and was totally fine with it. I did that 3x in total ( different years) - zero issues so far.

Not sure that's completely true. When I sold my Yaris a fellow showed up and stuck plates on it then called CAA.
However CAA was so late (4hours) he eventually was told to get a local, keep the receipt and they would cover it.
Having a set of dirty plates may be all you need for the tow.

That means getting there yourself. At that point, I would just rent the 15 dollar Uhaul trailer.

@sburns
Are you shopping for a second bike or did I miss a post about the HD?

Hell this one is tempting me. Always like this along the line of the Sportster. But more reliable?
Ewwww. Price is good but straight pipes are a cop magnet and more and more municipalities are coming after them. Also it's a Shadow from team boredom. I wouldn't mind a sportster but have no interest in a shadow. Now, given the huge price disparity, maybe I could change my mind (if I could find a cost-effective muffled exhaust system).

EDIT:
No pics of left side of bike. Broken left mirror and left fork tube issues imply it might have gone down on that side. Still, it's a really cheap bike and it's running.
