The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

The word is "reasonable". What are other bikes, same year, same bike, selling for? All but 1 2007 CBR 600rr are asking $5000 or more. The other one is $4800 AS IS and has 56000 km. Bikes will only depreciate so much. What I consider "stupidly overpriced" is when someone is selling a bike for a lot more than everyone one else on Kijiji or Autotrader. If there was a good shape 2007 CBR 600 on Kijiji right now for $3500, it would be sold by tomorrow. IMO

Someone mentioned Kawi ZX6r sell for way less. Here is a 2007 (same year as the Honda)

FYI, the Honda is not my bike. lol. I'm just trying to show that bikes only depreciate so much.
 
uncomfortable and impossible to insure, i've seen vstroms sell quicker

There are some great deals out there right now due to COVID, sellers have lost their jobs, or less hours. But also there are buyers that planned on buying this year, but can't for the same reasons. Durham college here in Oshawa has not started the motorcycle courses yet. MX bike sales are going very strong.

New fork set would be nice... Certainly at the very least a fork oil and seal change.. on a 13 year old machine, that's going to be ridden hard, yes, why not?

Point is, all that will cost extra $$ and might want to be taken into consideration while selling the bike.. but again, like some one said, GTA...
 
Something tells thats a knock off Akrporvic, I could be wrong, though Thats not a CBX specific pipe, the mount alone gives it away.

very odd to place the mount so down low like that and from the looks of it, one piece with the pipe

The lawnmowers are louder.

I am still entertained by old BMW K-bikes that sound like the Jetsons ship. Not really sure how they managed to do that.
 
I wonder if honda ever made a charismatic engine for a production bike?
