The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

How much do you guys think I can get for my 2013 gsxr600 with 27,000 kms? Completely stock and looks/runs like new. I want to replace it with a sport touring bike like an FJ-09 maybe. How much can I get for it if I sell it privately, and how much if I trade it in at a dealer?

I would take the average value on kijiji - 20% to give you a more accurate value. Kijiji tends to attract the high ball mentality.

I sincerely doubt you will get much of a deal trading it in. The dealer is doubling down on you.

Not sure why I'm hesitant on this bike. Experienced rider but only 2300km in 3ish years? But if you go for it, better hurry. Looks like he's in a condo and posted his address on kijiji.....guys with minivans are probably on their way.
@iceman opinions? You have a similar/ same bike, right?

I think you posted this one in the wrong thread. Half of the modification devalue the bike in my opinion, and he's well above blue book high value. Not to mention his "$11,000 new" price in the ad must include prep and admin fees, and the taxes he paid because that bike has never had an $11,000 MSRP.

I'm amazed that he somehow calculated $4000 in upgrades, one of which is a "Premium tank protection sticker". I think a better real world price is around $5500. Then again, season starts soon so there's no logic in pricing.

EDIT: This bike is more realistic, http://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-tourin...km/1143896291?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

The bags and rack can be parted out for $4-500 to make it an even better deal.

It's a nice bike, there's no chance in hell he has $4000 into his "upgrades". That bike was for sale at this time last year when I bought mine. Still there, still asking too much. I bought a 2009 with 7k on it, with SW motech quick release racks, givi v35 side cases (color matched), three different windscreens, front fender extender, rear hugger, and heat demon heated grips. I paid $5000 at a dealer, because it was the owners bike and I know and trust him, I bought it over the phone, sight unseen.
After one year with my versys, I'm extremely happy, and I'm keeping it. The first time in as long as I can remember that I'll have the same bike 2 seasons in a row.

That is a good deal, and I like the red on the versys.

Works fine for me, and I'm on a different computer and a different network than yesterday. Here's the same link again, shortened: http://bit.ly/1TzWgmG
That one worked. Thanks
