The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Some definite upsides but where does it live in the winter? You could probably push it onto the lawn so driveway stays open.
I have plenty of space to leave it on the driveway so not a real issue.

But yes the folding one definitely has its benefits.

Dad wants me to buy an enclosed 6x10 for some reason.

This guy deserves credit for the body of the listing:

Goldwing 1500 $1300

56000 miles on it. Brand new battery brand new front tire. Everything runs perfect on this bike. The only flaws is a small rip in the seat cover. Easy fix. This is a 1994 and runs like new. I've had it 4 months bought behind my wife's back tried to talk her into letting me keep. In fact she's sitting right beside me making me type it out. I paid $2200 for this bike and had a new front tire and battery installed so this bikes cost me around $2700. I will also negotiate delivery.

This is a good price for a bike that was a beast in its day, if it's in as good condition as it looks. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it.

1984 Yamaha FJ1100 $1495
The longer I look at it, the more fairing damage I see. And it's in London... $1495 is high, but not insanely high

You must be able to take a closer look at it than I. I have never been able to figure out how to zoom into pictures in Marketplace. If you know how, please share!

I got interested in bikes in the early 80s and would study the bike mags like they were my Bible, so that's still a good price for the sentimentalist in me. The bikes from that era are just so gorgeous to my eyes, better looking than most of the current bikes.

If you're on Android, you need to enable the little guy shown in the bottom right corner of the screen shot. It will allow you to zoom in on any screen, any page, any image.

There are browser extensions for PC. Someone else can explain Apple.

I dont have the little man enabled but if I press
Volume up and lock I get a virtual magnifying glass.

I'm on iOS, but was looking for that ability in the Marketplace app or website itself. Having to zoom in at the OS level is jacked - I should be able to tap on the image and pinch to zoom, or use the browser's built in zoom feature, but for whatever reason Facebook borked that ability both ways.

Having said that, I will try looking for something similar on iOS.

18,000 kms in 40 years, that's a lot of sitting around OR it's been around the clock once. Plus it's in a used car dealer's lot, that alone makes me shy away.
That particular dealer never gives me a warm n fuzzy whenever I have been there in the past.
I did pick up a free goldwing there in the past though.....(Team Zebra)

What do you guys think is a reasonable price for a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500, 33,000 km?

Pretty clean aside from the dent on the right side of the tank.

It got the carb cleaned last year, as well as a new battery, oil changed a couple months. Fires up, shifts, runs great. Safetied and the safety is still good for another couple weeks I think.

What's a fair price?

$1500-2000 if you're in a hurry to move it.

Going by what I currently see out there I'd start at $3K. Almost none on the market are listed as safetied
