The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Finally heard back...lol it is her dad's bike he recently passed, (likely his Nigerian email account to her)... lmao. In the initial email it was available for delivery or pick up now it is with a shopping firm Yada Yada Yada

Reported to autotrader...

I got the same email. Yada Yada Doo!

Lol I just went back to ad it says the vehicle has "just been sold". Sure it has,too bad the seller removed ad before autotrader could pull it or autotrader outs that up rather than say it was a fraud ad??

Only the wr250r and wr250x (sumo) are street legal. The wr450f and wr250f are not. However some older "f" models were blue plated before 2007, and occasionally come up on Kijiji.

Such ridiculous laws here. There is no logical reason a converted dirtbike shouldn't be street legal, especially when they are very similar to other bikes that are street legal.

As long as it has blinkers, stop light etc it should be plateable. Can be done in numerous states why not in ON?

Too many blue plated bikes showing up without a legit safety. I bought my 200 exc ktm blue plated, head/taillight, no signals, horn, brake light, speedo, dot tires, mirrors, nothing. Even the exhaust was off road only.
I wish the govt still allowed it, too many of the trail systems use roads if you want to link to another trail.

Yeah but nothing stops anyone from removing those from a street legal bike, anyway. For example, the PO of my bike had to buy a street kit for it to be legal including turn signals, mirrors, etc. This kit was $1200. What did he do as soon as he got it on the road? Took it all back off. I had to ask him to reinstall it all before I took ownership of the bike because I actually use them.

How do you like the 200 exc? I was thinking of buying one to try to use in the winter.

That ktm was my favourite dirtbike ever. Was extremely light, very fast, and fun as hell! Other than trail linkage on short road sections, I only took it out around town a few times, great fun, not very comfy but I rarely sat down anyway.
