The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

09 ninja 250, 1200kms, needs a carb clean and battery, asking 1200$
cosmetic damage is minimal. if you can clean a carb, install a battery, flush the brake fluid and flush the cooling system- your good. Otherwise I wouldn't bother...

I have been using a pic of the that red with black/white CB400 as computer wall paper for a few years. Would love to own one.

Is this the same bike you guys are talking about? Says 400cc 4 cylinder in the ad, good looking bike but not sure on the value...

1989 Honda CB-1 NC27 400F. 2 for 1,

Price: $ 4,000

Also comes with almost complete parts bike. I like the looks of it and the idea of 400 I4

The Honda 400’s from that era are very cool. VFR 400 NC30 would be my bike of choice. Too bad they don’t make small displacement bikes like they used too – V4’s, I4’s, gear driven cams, single sided swing arms, dual front rotors, CBR’s with 18k rev limits.

So tempted...I really like the idea of a rare small 4 cylinder honda naked to go along with my vfr. But, going be hard to justify a third let alone fourth (parts bike) bike. Not much room left in the garage as it is.

Wonder if he would trade me for my ninja...lol probably not, I wouldn't...

I agree although personally I think dual rotors are over rated. My RS125 has a single and has better braking than the two bikes I've had with dual rotors. Not that either of those are high performance (650R and CBX).

for the majority of street riding a single disk is probably just fine
assuming there is sufficient surface area per weight
most of us are not likely to overheat brakes

so it's likely just cosmetic unless one is actually a Street Rossi

RE: CB1- 400 for sale.

sometimes you see these in good condition for 2500-3000. less for ragged ones, but it does have a bit of cult following, hence the 4 large price.

Didn't know there was a black version. Good deal especially with service records as valves are costly to get serviced and stator a known weakness if not replaced. Luggage makes it a great deal if mileage isn't a barrier. Relatively short fuel range ..can barely scrape 300km on a tank but it's nice and light. Very smooth detuned FireBlade - no mention of the C-ABS which I really enjoyed on mine.

Insurance was reasonable for me.
