The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I agree - the intermediates look better and handle well ...but the 1200s really haul ass.
If you don't mind the weight or are doing two up ...it's effortless ( rode a demo at Rock the Red )

I adore red Hondas

If you fit the bike it's a long term sweet heart and that is nicely configured. Money well spent IMNSHO. Can't recal seeing factory cases.
What do mean by fit the bike? Are you referring to the character of the bike or the size? I've never seen a 1200 up-close but my 800 is a bit bigger than most sport/sport touring I've been on and at 6ft2 it feels big under me. Curious if the 1200 is that much bigger.

Likely a good fit for you ( size ) ...you would have to check dimensions against the 800....go see it :D

who the hell buys a bike like that and does 5k km in 9 years....

Ducati 996 for $5900. It's high mileage which explains the price. Still tempting though

I just can't figure out how they beat that thing with such a big ugly stick.
Does anyone really think the VFR1200's look good?

I really like the VFR 750's and 800's though, just not that.
I don't mind it...but my opinion is -- as I could never fit on it.

Good chance you can probably find a 250 for that much if not slightly more
Not many 250s in that price range though, and the ones that are aren't the greatest shape.

It's a good price for that bike and it might be a better bike for someone rather than a 250, not everyone wants or needs more power. I met someone on a 125 once who felt my 300 was too fast for her.

Pretty good price for a clean ninja 300.
