the Real Jerk, get it before its gone

Wasn't really impressed the last time I went there. The place was so dark it was depressing, food was cold, taste of the food was a 6 out of 10 at best. I think I prefer the bar on the North West corner compared to this place.

That's frikkin ridiculous, and criminal in my opinion.
As some of you know, i owned a place on Queen W, and had similar, actually worse, issues with my landlord, the city, you name it.
All a bunch of pirates that cater to the rich, who gives a crap about the little business man, we can move a McDonalds in here now!!

I could rant for the whole afternoon, but i think i'm gonna go beat the pizz outta my heavy bag for an hour instead......

Likewise. The food used to be really tasty, but got somewhat bland the last few times I was in there. The ambiance never bothered me.

I found their meat to be old and tough, and the presentation to be sadly lacking.

Since we're on the topic, do you guys have any jerk recommendations? I really don't eat jerk too much, but I've gone to the Real Jerk & I wasn't impressed. I found Ritz & Mr. Jerk to be a lot better

mr jerk, peanut plaza location the best.


jerk pork/oxtail combo....
 
Roti palace just off of Bloor/Bathurst is amazing
