The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Would love to...
If the truck would be paid off I'd seriously consider a pricier bike.
But, there's not enough income to pay for living expenses, mortgage, truck and a fancy bike right now... 2.5 years.. I can wait....

Here's what state farm gives me as pricing...

2007 Suzuki GSP X750: $123.07/month
2009 Yamaha R6: $99.26/month
2006 Yamaha R1: $146.40/month
2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10: $146.40/month

R6 is definitely the most attractive there....

Call Jeff at two wheel. Was there today and he might have an R6 trade coming in. Black with gold. 5800km. Great shape. Around 7

I know none of those are twins... but twins that I want are far and few between to be honest with you.. that, and they're pricey (Ducati, KTM)..

Sv1000. More money in your pocket and way less to insure (for you around 40-50 a month). Buddy on this forum has one for 5500 in the for sale section. Exactly like mine. Feel free to take mine for a rip... Bet it won't be too much of a difference from the buell. That the only way ur getting a v twin with out breaking the bank.

Have u ever ridden an inline 4? Night and day between my sv and the zx6. Totally different ride.

Hiya... well, Babs had 140 rear wheel horse power... SV is closer to 100. Big difference there.. but, same general idea on the torque etc.

used to own an inline 4 before Babs.. a beginner bike - Yamaha FZ6r. Was nice, but kind of bland, and was buzzy at anything over 105 km/h...

That Daytona looks sweet, I must say. Will have to do some research on that one - heard that the 09's have voltage regulator issues. Friend has one and it left him stranded with only 5K on the clock.

Will call Jeff at 2-wheel as well. Just to see what they settle on for a price.

As for Babs... she has left the building. Just left with her 10 minutes ago... sad... and a little miffed... :angry1:

Going to see the Daytona on Sunday. Leaving around noon. Just on the other side of London.
Anyone care to tag along?

Needs 400bux in rubber plus a safety brings it to 71-7200. I'd still go for the 675.

But pinch the loonie if you want.

Offer $6K firm. Should be under $6500 with tires and safety.
Add the extra government share puts it $7K.

Heck, I even have the Metzeler M3's I was saving for Suzi I can throw on and buy a different set for her over the winter. Puts it down to $6200 after safety.

Daytona would be about $1000-1500 more. Hoping to ride a friend of mines daytona on the weekend at some point so I get an idea of how it feels.

Just promise me you won't buy that R6 without looking at the Daytona.
