Well cant speak for any one else, but I was stuck babysitting all day. Man when I saw the sun come out I wanted to get on the bike so bad.

Ya same. I was working. But took the bike over to friends in the evening since was fairly warm.
Can't wait to get out now with the heavier fork oil in! (thanks again Dave. I'll bring Guiness next time we meet up. Or buy you a few rounds)

So, anyone decide for sure if they're in or out?
1 Week trip - Somewhere between July 14-29 (sorry, that's when I get my holidays, and they can't be changed due to shop shut down).
Leave mid-late afternoon Saturday, drive half way, hotel/motel OR leave super early Sunday morning and drive straight through.
Return the following Friday on a straight through drive.

90% chance I'll have room for 1 bike in the back of my truck, and a passenger (in the truck) to share gas costs.
If you firm up the dates, I'll book the rooms if you want. (sooner the better).... (I've got a DragonSlayer's Discount Club pass for Fontana Village).
alright, guess I am on this thread now. A couple things, first when can everyone go? That would be a good starting point. Sounds like Tim is the limiting factor with his time off. Maybe a seperate thread/email discussion is best for all of this. I can go whenever. If I go, I'd like to see 5 or 6 days of riding for a rain day or two. Its a lot of miles/time/gas to go, may as well make it worth while. Personally I'd like to see us leave either saturday or sunday morning early, get there/do groceries and stay at fontana (if there is even room, we need to find out), and head back the following saturday. If we drive back on a weekday, we'll run into rushhour during the day.
Bigevildoer, you want to take point and collect everyones email address, so we don't pollute the forum? If not, maybe put in a seperate thready, leave this for weekly rides since there will be a lot of back and forth/intermixed conversations?

The bike feels so stable in the turns! The chain runs so quite now as well! Hard to believe its the same bike!
