Not surprized you would resort to name calling. Show the proof that The Beer Store makes any profit. Anyone can start a lawsuit, the hard part comes now proving its valid. Thanks for calling me a name makes me laugh at keyboard warriors that have nothing smart to say. I'm sure your best at whatever you do and would let anyone say something not factual and do nothing.

all I can say is I'm glad I only live 5 minutes from the bridge over to Michigan where a 24 is $15.95 and gas is now less than 70 cents . Even with the exchange it's still a savings.

At this point, the difference in what's done, it might depend on how much the International Brewers have already pulled out of Canada. If there aren't many jobs here, that the Government thinks could move, then we'll see some action.

The agreement might be something that made sense long ago,
when it was the Canadian Brewers Retail, struggling to compete and not be taken over.

Now it all seems like pony p, and I don't see Guinness necessarily coming down in price here, over this.

It might be some weird Not for Profit setup similar to MEC, or maybe way different,
but having all "profits", distributed back to the members, of which there are three.

Edit: Oh wait, MEC makes charity donations, and the Ontario Beer Store,
supposedly donates to BC political parties.

I give up I guess when I've worked there and as of yet haven't seen any profit made at any store I've worked in and in fact most have lost close to a few thousand dollars on average due to theft and breakage times that by 300 or more stores and having being called into head office meeting shown the losses they have hidden the profit well from all the workers.

Wtf are you talking about the star? The linked article was cbc, the study was done by an economics professor. Not sure when studies started needing to ne proven in court either.

Yes Irocian, we all know that the 3 big multinational breweries operate the beer store out of the goodness of their heart at no profit.
Next thing you're gonna tell us is that the people working their are all volunteers.
That's why beer prices in Ontario are higher than QC and surrounding states.
Btw. in QC you can buy beer at Costco for about a buck a beer.
