Soooooo tired of everything, everywhere, all the time....being Covid19. I'm sure I'm not alone.
So lets take a moment to change the page for a few minutes in this thread (if nothing else) and reminisce about some of our favourite rides or photos from last season.
NO COVID19 discussion.
Just the good stuff.
I'll start. I was lucky to have a lot of time last summer and did numerous big trips on 2 wheels covering just a touch under 30,000KM by the time the season was done - the big ones were Sturgis, the Black Hills & Wyoming, and a trip with another member here that covered the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala skyway, some bits of Moonshiners, and then Back of the Dragon on the way home.
My favourite? It's a real toss up. I enjoyed the tail and back of the dragon a whole ton...and I enjoyed every second of the technical roads down there.
But even though it was a whirlwind of a trip, I think SD and WY the week before Sturgis was my favourite. Around 6000KM in 9 days of riding. A few iron butt days, and several medium mileage days enjoying the scenery and the technical roads out there.
That trip yielded one (by no means all) of my favourite photos last year:
