Switching mobile phone service carriers?

If you will remember about this feature. As I constantly forget my phone has it.
Can it be triggered automatically with sensors? If I'm cruising along at speed and stop quickly something bad has happened.

They can trigger an emergency call, but I don’t thing it can be triggered using a satellite as the phone has to be manually pinpointed to the skies. But I might be wrong.

Alright you guys aren’t helping me save money here…
i thought you would have already pivoted your 'renovations' to that guys basement gaming setup...

the HELOC calls to you..don't fight it

If you try to call 911 in a no service area it automatically calls up emergency satellite mode. You don't need to remember to activate anything, no special menus or anything required.

I've been getting these bizarre texts recently. I honestly thought they were spam messages with malicious payloads (had attachments with no identifying information WHATSOEVER), so I've been ignoring them / deleting them. Today I got one in close proximity to a missed call, had a suspicion and called myself... yup. I had been opted into "premium" voicemail and this is how they were being delivered.

The ONE thing I miss about having an Apple phone, is that Apple actually massively improved how voicemail worked. And it's been over a decade now, and every single "premium" voicemail service that I have been subjected to since then that isn't that, is objectively inferior to a carrier's baseline voicemail service. Like... come on?!?!
