Beautiful looking motorcycle! Wishing you happy miles
Is is just a slipon or a full exhaust? If just a slipon, I doubt much changes and if anything you go rich so you're safe. If it fouls plugs or runs like crap, then think about reflash (but I doubt it will).Ok, this might be a stupid question with no easy answer but here it goes…
The aftermarket exhaust on my ride is on the obnoxious side. I’ve always kept to the quiet exhaust side to keep a lower profile and not annoy others. I do love the sound but it certainly isn’t stealthy.
I have a flashed ECU which was presumably after the exhaust was installed, I’ll have to look into that to be sure.
If I swap back to the stock exhaust, which I have, is it likely that I should get a new flash?

Depends on the bike and what flash was done, I think. Does the stock exhaust have a cat?If I swap back to the stock exhaust, which I have, is it likely that I should get a new flash?
they are, best bang for buck bike i've ever riddenVery nice bike! Did you mention if the suspension is stock or has it been upgraded?
The FZ09’s look like they would be so much fun for day trips up north and commuting around town.

new ones come with cruise control, good suspension and quick shifter
my understanding is ALL the 2021+ models come with the new stiffer frame, better steering geometry and better suspension, quickshifterDo you mean the SP? That is big money to match (over 15k after fees and before tax....starts to make less sense at that money). The regular ones suspension still seems pretty low end-average like the previous ones

The SP comes with cruise control, and ohlins as well.
I got a REALLY good deal for my 2017 and paid 10k all in for brand newOk, I thought some of things you said were SP stuff. I have a hard time seeing paying $17,000 for a mt09 either way. Love the bike but god damn that is a lot for what it is, a really fun hooligan city type naked bike.

for base model 2021 you're probably looking at 11.7 OTD
15k for the SP, which I agree is a lot, you're pushing leftover tuono RR model price range at that point
its better but it's not exactly comparable. That's what I'm saying. Before insurance cock blocked me in 2018 I was looking at 10.5 on the road. At that amount, it's amazing value.
And yes it's not far off, and let's be honest the Tuono is a better bike.
Nice ride. From what I understand, STD mode makes the same power as A mode, you just have to advance the throttle further. I never use A mode as the degree of finesse required on the throttle to prevent whiplash is bordering on ridiculous.. For me, its a lot easier to to use Grampa mode (B) and STD mode (sometimes) at higher speeds. The ECU flash is one of the tasteful mods already completed but I do appreciate the input for sure.
I’ve been riding in STD mode and TC1 for the most part with a bit of A mode to test her out. She definitely has no problem picking the wheel up!

I'm still sorting out the drive and traction control modes on my new to me Tracer GT. Cruise control is great on the highway. Air Hawk overlay makes the Bagster seat livable for the time being.Nice ride. From what I understand, STD mode makes the same power as A mode, you just have to advance the throttle further.
