Suspect # 2 Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

I guess this has been discussed to death on every other forum, but this one, so here we come with all the arguments again. I'll stay away on this forum. Just one thing to point out - so many people don't understand 'innocent until proven guilty' concept, it's not even funny.

+1.

Innocent until proven guilty?
That pretty much goes out the window when you get into a shootout with the police, throw bombs at them and then admit to all of the above.

It is a nice concept however...

war criminal= no trial????? makes sense.... a part of me feels sad over this situation a smart promising young man get caught up in this ****... I truly hope they find out what led him down this path.. if not for truths sake then for the sake of all the other kids at risk.

More like a delusional, deranged piece of ****.

By your posts its not hard to pick up that you sympathize with these individuals....

Do you realise he is a young guy. They need to find out why he changed so drastically so quickly.I guess that's what they are investigating now since the FBI had already investigated thus kid on Russian request and found that he had no affiliation or even any aspirations of extremism... That's the only way to help other young ppl being brainwashed by god knows who..
Sorry I can't help your hateful racist mindset understand the purpose of the investigation.... M out.. Hope you can open up your mind..

He was probably drawn into it by his equally despicable older brother. Young or old makes no difference, he's a piece of **** who deserves to be hung from a light post in downtown Boston.... all his sympathizers too.

I believe he should be given a proper and fair trial not because I have any sympathies for that piece of **** but for the benefit of the American public and their society. Regardless of the defendant, Star Chamber trials are never good. Once he gets convicted, I'd sentence him to life, no possibility of parole. Death is too good for him.

He did have the right to remain silent.. and in retrospect, any statements he had made could probably not be held against him. The penalty for not reading him his rights is that we cant use those statements in the court of law. HOWEVER, we dont really need to... there is overwhelming evidence anyway!

He was given his miranda rights. Here is the transcript
http://www.scribd.com/doc/137446180/Transcript-of-Dzhokhar-Tsarnaev-s-bedside-hearing

I heard something to that effect in the news today. I'm not too clear because I was doing something at the time

Due Process.
This is the opportunity for America to demonstrate to the world that as an American Citizen he has certain inalienable rights guaranteed by the Constitution. People dies to preserve these rights for all to have.

So he will have his day in court with a "free" attorney to represent him.
It shows the world that we have a system and even if you are clearly guilty you will still go through the system.
It is not about the money but the ideal that a Nation stands for.
Therefore for all the bad America brings they can still show that light of fairness for other Nations to move to.
If nothing else it will demonstrate the the Citizens of other countries to hopefully reform their Judicial system.

Yes i do realize that he's a young guy. I also realize that he's an adult, with a working mind like every other human being.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what went wrong, seems his imaginary god was better than our imaginary god and he needed to buy his way into his god's heaven to meet some virgins. Unfortunately that meeting will now be postponed thanks to USA law enforcement.

And im a hateful racist? :lmao: good one

Im all for it, and so is everyone else. However there is no doubt in anyone's mind that this guy did it, and he will be convicted.

Given the evidence against him.. obviously he will be convicted. He is still entitled to have his day in court to explain.

Watch the movie Arlington Road - even though its fiction
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arlington_Road

Faraday forces his car into a secure parking garage of the FBI federal building, only to discover that he has followed the wrong van into the parking garage. Attempting to calm Faraday, Whit informs him that he is the only person not cleared to be in the garage. Realizing his mistake too late, Faraday rushes to the trunk of his rental car, opening it to reveal a hidden bomb just seconds before it explodes, killing Faraday, Whit, and 182 others.
Posthumously, Farady is vilified as a terrorist who destroyed the FBI headquarters under the motive of seeking revenge for his wife's death. The Langs and their conspirators (some of whom include the Scout taskmaster, a telephone maintenance man, and at least one of Farady's students) completely get away with it.

That image doesn't show him running away with a backpack at all, not to mention that there were 2 separate bombings.

Tinfoil idiots make me laugh. This guy leads police on a chase, throws bombs and shoots at them in front of eyewitnesses, carjacks another eyewitness, hides in another eyewitness' boat, and then confesses to his crimes in the hospital............ but no, its a conspiracy

Just one thing to point out - so many people don't understand 'innocent until proven guilty' concept, it's not even funny.

Is that the same "Innocent until proven guilty" as we get with the HT-172?

It's funny how conspiracy nutbars can never unravel the conspiracy and blow the whistle before it actually happens. They're always buzzing around after the fact like a swarm of flies on a dungheap. They twist and fabricate the story with so-called "evidence" yet never prove anything or get anyone of significance to corroborate their story.

Wrong. the FBI investigated the older brother, not the 19 year old. They were advised by the Russians.
They knew the older brother had affiliations/aspirations of extremism, but had not yet broken any laws and so were legally bound to let him go. They obviously dropped the ball monitoring him though.

Why did he change? I'd speculate it was due to the ideology of his older brother, whom he idol worshiped by all accounts.

Why do such people become radicalized? I imagine it's due to listening to anti-western propaganda...the type you've been propagating here and in the other thread.
