The 250 is officially for sale and my sights are set on a 600. I have a few stupid questions:
1. What do I have to do as a seller to sell the bike? I want to sell it as-is because I don't have the time to go get it safetied so it's AS-IS. But do I just have to go get a UVIP package from the ministry and then just give away the permit? Is that it? Can I get the UVIP anytime (as in pick it up tomorrow and have it still be valid if I sell the bike next year?).
2. Are all the 600's pretty much in the same ballpark when it comes to pricing or is there a difference in price (if all things considered are the same) between the zx6r, gsxr, cbr or r6?
3. I'm focusing my search on either a GSXR 600 or the ZX6R and focusing in on the 2007-2009 years. What should I expect to pay for a private sale vs dealers APPROXIMATELY (I know there are many variables/factors that affect pricing). Just want to know what's acceptable vs what's out of the ballpark.
4. I've already paid the full year of insurance with SF, does everything get pro-rated and worked out etc?
Thanks.
