I have never been but would love to go. I was there a few weeks ago for the American lemans series. Maybe I will head up last minute just for the sunday with the gf.
I'll be there all weekend like the last few years. Got my ticket for roughly $60 online from BMW, includes camping and dinner one night. Also I heard that Treble Charger will be playing there.
I know last year Suzuki and Honda let you ride with an M2, it's usually only RR (GSX-R) models that need full M
Surprised there isn't already a post on this considering it's next weekend. Biggest motorcycle race/weekend in Canada! Who's all going? I'll be getting a weekend pass and camping it!
Anybody seen a schedule for it yet? What bands are playing this year? I hear BMW is doing demo rides again. Can't wait to try the S1000!
I'll be going race day only! Hope Mother Nature is a race fan![]()
It should be a good one!
Here is a list of activities BMW has planned. I’m not sure if Honda and Yamaha are doingsomething…

Re: Racing Superbike should be interesting with Christiefinally beating Szoke at the last round, who has been untouchable in recent years. Welsh is all ways there but the bike seems to continuouslysuffer from gremlins. Will Trombinofinally have that Aprillia sorted out?
The Harly XR fight will be a good one. Michael Taylor has been putting the heat onSteve Crevier. Maybe even causingCrevier to crash at the last round? About 4 or 5 guys could win this race, more if rumoured Americans showup.
If you have never been, you should at least check it out fora day. But make sure you move around, turn 2 is awesome but so is the start of a race from Moss corner (at the back)you can hear the bikes roar through 2/3 building anticipation to see whocrests turn 4 first. On the outside ofthe track you can catch the combination of corner 8/9/10 after they comethrough the long back straight WFO.
Yeah…I’m kind of a big fan!
@bakaboy #747 is getting a little long in the tooth, best to put your money on the youngsters!

No demo rides on friday, only Saturday and Sunday.P.S. I'd recommend going Friday if you want to try the S1000. From what I hear there is always a long wait to try that beast out.

Great tips and advice. Thanks Moto.
I spent the evening googling, as I've never been to "Mosport" or a live motorcycle race before. I'm looking forward to this weekend (sat probably due to other things in my life), but I have a few general spectator questions.
1. Is this place totally general admission? Pay to enter but you can sit basically anywhere you want?
2. Are there track announcers? Can you tune into some special radio station to hear "commentary" or is that just wishful thinking for CSBK
3. How do you get around within the park to the different corners? Basically just your two legs or are people driving, riding bicycles, taking their motorbike?
4. Does CSBK get busy? As in, if time is tight, is there the possibility if I show up closer to the main event I could be spending it looking for parking?
5. Also wanted to ask about best vantage point, but Moto was pretty descriptive. Any other tips?
6. Essential things to bring?
Thanks everyone. Any other helpful tips would be helpful to me and others I'm sure. I'm a long time moto racer fan, and excited to see what's this is all about in person rather than on the tube.
Thank you.

3. I walk or ride pit bike or bicycle.
This is good to know actually! I was half-joking before but now that you mention it, I might leave the motorbike at home and bring up the car with bicycle. So, to confirm so I don't make an arse out of myself, I can enter the grounds with my bicycle and a backpack and they'll be no issues?
I don't think non licensed motorized vehicles are allowed.
