No, been there a handful of times...
For the first time I thought it was actually pretty clean up until that point and there were minimal wobbles, but that corner was really bad especially in the other lane.
 
Guys, next time (weekend), I was thinking, instead of starting southwood etc., we ride straight to Bala (skip southwood), do long sweepers that we did twice, then head straight to the HWY that we did after Huntsville, and continue to Haliburton etc. we will save on time and do plenty of nice roads..... I am not sure if I want to do southwood again.... Let me know who all is interested and will post something..

In my humble opinion, Southwood is only worth doing around late August-September. That's when the sand clears up.
I would do it with sand, but not "balls out".

Sorry loneronin i didn't know u couldn't see me anymore, you where staying with me fine for the first half.

I'm interested in attending the next ride, since i missed this one. Crazy that one of the riders ended up in a creek!

Hello guys!! yeah I am definitely in for another ride like on AUG 4. Dhruv K that sounds good ill do Southwood if the guys want to do it again I know is a bit dangerous because of the sand but even though it was my firts time there I had fun and glad that LoneRonin is ok and walk away with minor injures to him and his bike, I got my bike ready for the next ride I did my oil change on Monday clean my K&n filter, clean, lube, the chain check my chain slack, fluids, tires and I am ready to go again. I would also be interested on doing the run that smelly bean did that day right after we head home, do you remember telling me its 10x better I just dont know the name of the route you guys were saying lol anyways i am down for what you guys decide!
 
just for the note , jason wasnt the only going down at southwood on this ride ...there was another rider with his new to him Suzuki1000 laid down his bike on gravel at the beginning of the southwood ride...
 
That was me, did the 3km fall over.

Id already bought the frame sliders but when I tried to install them the night before the holes needed to be chased. all is good, ordered a new fairing kit for the whole bike. I also went and bought a pair of fairings on monday and they are installed on the bike already.
