don't care if it had every aftermarket part imaginable.
unless they engine swapped a V4 into it, that bike will never be worth that price.

$19 grand for a new base model s1000rr.

9 year newer technology.

I get it, hp4 package...

M package on a new one is $40 grand.

Still... seems nuts to me.

I think that generation hp4 was a marginal improvement and you're probably right, nine years newer may more than make up for the gap. The next generation hp4 was most of 100 lbs lighter than 1000rr. That's nuts and could justify a steep price for the right buyer. Now, maybe someone dreamed of hp4 and this may be an "affordable" entry point. I really have no concept of fair prices for used hp bikes.

its still on original 10 year old tires...they are hard out of the factory...
A 2022 EX400 (EFI, bigger motor, ABS, better everything) lists for $6599, why on God's green earth would anyone pay more than maybe $3K for a 250 that's been off the road for 10 years ? Its gonna need a battery, tires, fluids, carb clean, etc... If the tank is full of rust that'd knock another $500 off the price. And at the end of the day it's still an EX250. Someone has their head in the clouds.

Lolllll the ninja I sent her a “low ball” offer of 5000. Check out her other ads on there she really likes the number $680 for some reason, those old chairs and tables wtfff
