I sold a non running 1970 R60/5 that needed $5000 just to be a good runner for $3000. That is the most desirable colour scheme and model. A mismatched numbers not matching wrong colour and seized motor sold for $2500. Personally I wouldn’t pay that but people love this model.

at first glance, this looks better than most project bikes
but then you look closer, what a mess

subframe (from a swingset?)
lights?
battery?
mismatched wheels
garden hose for a front brake line?

and the pic itself, what a mess
literally a backyard hack job

Ok, this one isn't local but it should probably go down in the hall of fame of overspending on a project. Started with a 2013 Triumph and "invested" over $100,000 USD. They don't list a selling price but most people expect a positive return on their "investments" and this one looks like it is headed for minus 90%.

top of line everything. Built for speed. Wont find a nicer high end bike like this. Theres 100k invested. Motor work..trans..tires wheels you name it its all the best.
Being sold by professional shop
In Azusa call Solo 1 ask for Ron or Joe about the triumph.

Is it just me or is that chain kinked?

Also I am just now noticing that Triumph's retro bikes have the chain on the "wrong" side

No price listed but the way he goes on about it I'm guessing he'll want ridiculous money for it.

Interesting build, that thing must sound insane when the turbo spools up with that 6 cylinder howl.

5 year old 500cc Harley for only $500 more than a new one. I rode one when I did my M1 exit and quickly switched to the cbr125 for the rest of the weekend. What a dog of a bike.

I like the reading between the lines story of how he starved the turbo of oil amd blew it up.

Genuine Shoei Motorcycle Helmet,

Price: $ 400

Not a bike, but a 30 year old Shoei helmet... for $400...
Should be hanging on a wall, or in the dump.

@Wingboy

Probably the same ****** helmet that sparked the last discussion... the co-worker selling a ****** old helmet; you tossed him a couple bucks, cut off the strap, and threw it in the garbage...

1999 CBR600 $1500 for this money pit.
Some gold there. He posted a pic with the plate covered and then the same pic with the plate exposed. " exhaust has been professionally cut in half for a great sound " wtf? It was already an aftermarket exhaust and you "professionally" turned up the heat and ahole scores with no performance benefit?

We all wanted one when it first appeared on the magazine cover
they sold for a lot less, brand new with a warranty.

I like that he decided the best possible spot to do a photo shoot was the sidewalk. Something tells me that ad was on Kijiji 5 minutes after the motor blew up.

He has a Subaru for sale with a transmission code as well. Another "quick fix" great deal. LOL
