Ok, this one isn't local but it should probably go down in the hall of fame of overspending on a project. Started with a 2013 Triumph and "invested" over $100,000 USD. They don't list a selling price but most people expect a positive return on their "investments" and this one looks like it is headed for minus 90%.

It sure looks like it has a sticky link just in front of the rear sprocket. You don't get as much for 100K as you used too. It's probably from all the power that 865 is pumping out to make a high-end speed bike.

Not to worry, it looks like it has a clip master (on the wrong way around), easy to replace the chain.

Interesting build, that thing must sound insane when the turbo spools up with that 6 cylinder howl.

5 year old 500cc Harley for only $500 more than a new one. I rode one when I did my M1 exit and quickly switched to the cbr125 for the rest of the weekend. What a dog of a bike.

Some gold there. He posted a pic with the plate covered and then the same pic with the plate exposed. " exhaust has been professionally cut in half for a great sound " wtf? It was already an aftermarket exhaust and you "professionally" turned up the heat and ahole scores with no performance benefit?

Seized motor...... but it has a K&N air filter so all is good.

What I like is he says "rear has seized" So magically the rear brake tire seized ?? no motor seems more like it.

I like that he decided the best possible spot to do a photo shoot was the sidewalk. Something tells me that ad was on Kijiji 5 minutes after the motor blew up.

He has a Subaru for sale with a transmission code as well. Another "quick fix" great deal. LOL

A transmission code that causes the engine to shut off. Yeah. Sounds like the only problem is a transmission speed sensor. :/
