Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Needs everything, outside for 10 yrs.....so scrap metal?
That wiring alone is enough to see the hours and dollars piling up.

Everyone has an acquaintance, cousin or brother-in-law that lets something sit in a garbage heap for years. Then when someone says they could do something with it, suddenly it's worth big money. Yeah, keep it.

Working on a shadow 500 like that now. 7 years in a garage not stored properly lost key “new” tires. Must be worth $700 he thinks. Assuming it’s not seized and the tanks not rusty. I see a minimum of $1000 in parts to get a running cert bike that might be worth $1500.

The fzr250 does interest me but $500 tops

"dropped a couple times...2 new blinkers are only $16 and and a set of mirrors isn’t much so I’m not gonna allow that to effect my price..."

It all makes a perfect sense, like the fact that it was dropped a couple times does not effect the bike whatsoever

He realizes he has a 125 not a 250/300 right? $2400 for a 12 year old 125 in pristine shape is crazy pricing. For one that is beat on both sides, he will be lucky to sell at any price.

He also has a Mastercraft roofing nailer that he wants $300 for and not a penny less. Another object where he wants at least three times the market value.

Its a $1200 bike on a good day, and today isn't a good day.

1000 best he can expect. I bought one for a lady friend that was pristine, 6000 km, for $1100 — just needed a battery, then passed a legit safety.

I rode it for a few days — neat little city bikes.

1994 Seca2 some assembly required $3000
Haha. "Little work required" strikes again. Main fairing has a huge crack. Only pic of seat has it soaking wet and sitting in a puddle, I wonder what it looks like dry.
Edit:
He's also selling a "mower" with no cutting deck. To me, that means it's not a mower.

1984 CM450e. Left outside 12 + years “only needs a battery “ $1250

Only 42000 kms I had one of those 28 years ago as a first street bike was barely worth that then.
