Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

He'd be better off ghost riding it off a cliff and reporting it stolen lol

"This bike is absolutely perfect and I spent 25000 on it before it left the store."

Well there's your problem. You took a bike with a sub 10,000 MSRP and spent another 15 on it. People need to realize that any extras are like lighting money on fire, buy them because they make you happy but assume you are getting 0 for them when you sell it.

In 2 years he has put less than 6,000 km on it, I think he could have saved the $1000 on the Corbin. I still don't see 15K in extras there (unless he is also on the 15 year financing plan).

If he paid $1000 on a corbin its easy enough to assume he was hosed on prices for the other parts.

Helping a friend look for a first bike and saw this... 2009 ninja 250 42xxxkm $4000

I'd say that's a bit Overpriced, at least compared to what's offered in the K-W Area. Doing a Search for Ninja 250 came up with 4 Results, Most Expensive is a 2012 with 3300 km on it for $3200: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes...ki/1334024268?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
There's 2 Options for the Cheapest Price of $2200, 2007 with 15900 km: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes...50/1341207610?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
or a 2008 with 8500 Miles, He's also selling a 2009 CBR 125 with 21000km for $1400 or $3000 for the Pair: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes...br/1340863099?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
4th Option that showed up is a 2008 with 13759 km for $2395: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes...50/1342744879?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

"Hello I've got a 94 Yamaha virago XV250 I'm thinking about trading for a mud truck it did run when stored it does need the rear lights rewired let me know what you have most run and drive 4x4s a most thanks for looking"

Doesn't run, wiring buggered, stored for who knows how long

I also like the picture and mileage. Then again, he's probably right, not worth taking a picture of some scrap metal.

Spent all that money on stupid **** and the only thing this bike really needs is better suspension.
Have fun selling bud!!!
Yep, Price Drop to $11.5k, But Still Overpriced considering a 2017 FZ-09 ABS Got a MSRP of $9749 (Plus Dealer Costs (Freight, PDI, Taxes, ETC)): http://yamaha-motor.ca/products/details-build-price.php?model=4897&group=MC&catId=79&year=2017
Also Not Sure if the Description was updated after either, but it says "All original parts that were removed from the bike also come with it."

Edit: I Think this is overpriced for a Parts Bike Maybe? 2002 Ninja Parts Bike for $1k OBO, Engine got a Misfire otherwise I'd say the engine alone might be worth most of the asking price:

I have a 2002 Ninja parts bike for sale. $1000 or best offer. bike starts but the 1st cylinder is misfiring. custom gas tank for stunting. This bike is not road ready, if you wanted to put some love into it, it could be but it is good for parts as well, spark plugs are new.

Other than being a first gen ex500, that's not THAT crazy. Maybe a few hundred too high. What would it need? New tires, fluids, and maybe new pads with that? $1600-1800 all-in and it'd be a reasonable buy.

Rusted tank fuel lines petcock Carbs need rebuild after 30 years sitting. All hoses, all bearings. Thermostats and nothing will come apart easy. 30 years never moving. Few others listed in the $400-$900 running. It is a big gamble and just to much $
