Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Lol I just bought a 2009 FZ6r in mint condition; 1 owner and with 18k km's for $2700. $6000 for a crashed FZ6r is just new levels of stupidly overpriced

"1997 ZX6R Great bike. Selling the bike because I hurt my back. But other than that works well. Haven't used it in a year. So it might need a starter. $700"

Looks like a 1987 EX500 to me.

Most people don't want this for free but sure, why not - $200.

Or how about a stock "exhaist" for the same bike. Also, something that nobody wants.
$300
Anyone looking for stock FZ8/Fazer8 exhaust - let me know. Yours for free.

LOL ... seller wants to recoup most of the money spent on new shiny pipe and fender eliminator. :lmao:

needs a tune up, lol

yeah a little carb cleaner and fresh gas
bet it fires right up

too bad it's that far gone
those old NH make neat bobbers

A half dozen years ago a friend bought an 88 or 89 Goldwing in mediocre shape for about $5000.00, parked it on dirt behind his house throwing a tarp over it. Then his wife threw him out.

The bike is probably up to the axles in mud and the gas tank is empty due to a leak. The carbs will still contain some vintage gas.

He just wants to get his money back out of it.

I read quickly and though he bought it for $500 and wanted his money back which I thought might not be easy given the condition. His best hope to get $5000 out of it is a bunch of tannerite and Youtube.

Looks great, but

60000 kms and made in the 90's

gotta love those harleys

Good luck trading that for a Harley. Lala Land - 11K. Real world trade value: $2,000
I'd say anything certified is at least 2 grand. For the right buyer; say it was a model with sentimental value, $3 -3,500 isn't out of the question... but $11 is nuts.

Yes, sentimental value is not trade value though. Trade value is hard facts and this is not a collector's bike.
I think sentimental value is the root of the delusion in this case actually.
It's as if people don't do any research whatsoever and they pull these prices out of their butts.

... which is good for us I guess.
