Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

This.
These are actually functional modifications and proper improvements.

Installing a fender eliminator and flush signals means **** all.

Don't be silly, both of those things reduce drag. The increase in performance is immeasurable.

I second this. If it's that cheap I'll take two.

Do they also have Termi's for $50 in this magical bike shop of yours?

Did you factor in the sticker count? 3hp per sticker, 5hp for yellow stickers.

If you dont know what you are looking at this may seem $$$...... and not to be a total prick, but clearly you don't know what you are looking at here.

matter of fact I do, its funny because it seems to me the seller doesn't know what they're looking at, cannot even spell Akrapovic properly or even remotely close.

And not to be a prick, yea those bikes are modded up the *** but 95% of buyers don't give a ****. They see a $15000 4-5 year old bike and say on to the next one...and good luck finding someone in that 5% willing to pay that amount.

Unless you're selling a straight up track/race bike everyone knows its much better to revert the bike to stock sell it for a decent price and part out the mods. That way you can at least get your stuff sold.

So $3 grand to build a pro 600 bike that was/is capable of winning nationally eh? Lmao

Lol, maybe Jordan will do a straight up exchange for my lost era bike, maybe i'll throw in some broken hockey sticks and extra stickers to sweeten the deal haha.

The bike is expensive, and rightfully so. Those parts are expensive - no clue how much those showa parts cost, but you do realize those parts are not the same as say, oem showa suspension off of a new zx6r or gsxr. Is it a steal of a deal?...probably not. A person who buys a bike like this knows its going to perform well as it was setup for and by one of the fastest racers in Canada, as opposed to some dude who tried to make his street bike into a race bike like the above posted zx6r. So the prospective buyer knows the machine is going to WORK - the idea is, if Jordan can win on this bike, so can I - unfortunately, skill plays a huge part in that equation. I neither race, nor am I fast, but I do understand why this bike commands the price it does.

The problem is that with expensive bikes, there are much less potential buyers. I've seen that bike sifting around on kijiji for the last two years. Maybe they're just not that motivated to sell. It's not really targeted to people like you or me, but maybe for the trackday junkie who has really deep pockets, or a very serious pro level racer.

If you still don't understand this, go buy yourself a used two-bros slip on exhaust and just rev it in your garage and call it a day.

You are right on that one, what does the CSBK Champion know about bikes, right!?

Well this is an 'unless' situation.

You haven't got the slightest clue what your talking about, people that are putting a serious race effort together are willing to spend money on serious equipment and it doesn't get any more serious than those bikes. I'm also sure the seller knows more about bikes and what parts are needed to make them work PROPERLY then you think. Come out to a national race and look for the guy with a big #1 on the front and tell him he doesn't know anything about bikes. I'm sure he'll laugh and shake your hand because he seems like a nice guy but everyone around you will join in on the laugh.

LOL it didn't click who the seller was untill caboose pointed it out.

If i had the money I would buy with no hesitation, I must be an idiot

matter of fact I do

Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Count toothpicks to your cards. Autistic, sure. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded ...

WTF??

Sure maybe the dude's champ and has a nice set-up, doesn't change the fact that its overpriced...
Its like the racer guys modding 250's down to the teeth with turbos, big bore kits, new cam, pistons, suspensions, brakes, launch control, ecu maps etc...They're putting more into the bike than what it is initially worth, though its full race spec. If they turned around and tried to sell you a 250 for 10 grand would you not find that a little out of the realm of reasonableness? But what do those guys know right? They must be simple trying to 'upgrade' a little 250

How many of you champion riders we got kicking around GTAM??

And ZX600 I find it funny how you're always a crybaby about me being rude and insulting, blah, blah, blah and then you quote me and go calling yourself an idiot when no one implied anything remotely close to that.

either way, 4-5 year old bikes for more than the going cost of brand new...you ******** me??

The price is high. The price is not set for the average street rider to come along and use one of them as a daily rider. Try pricing out a relatively new 600RR then add the upgrades to turn it into a competitive CSBK Pro Sportbike ride. I have this sneaking suspicion that you will end up significantly north of $15G.

And lol.

Both bikes have an HRC wiring harness. If they don't have the original harness then the bikes can't be switched back to stock. But then you knew that didn't you.

I'd guess Wolfie knows more about race bikes than you.

How come it has both?? surely one would cancel out the other haha ECUnleashed ECU Flash (All Factory Restrictions Removed - 100% Throttle) and a Power Commander

There is some merit in using both. The PCV can't change the rev limiter or throttle restrictions in lower gears, etc.
