Have for sale a set of tire that I had purchased as new motorcycle tires from a bike shop by. Bought these tires as new but have found the date stamp of 4808 or December 2008, I thought new meant less then 6 months old by production status. So this emphasis that the date of production was about 4 years ago and you should be able to get another year out of the tire before cracking from age starts. I was given a quote of $331.35 all included, but it come out to just shy of $400 all included. At the time I purchased these tires I was looking at a place in Toronto had 4 year old tires advertised for $40 front and $50 back wrapped and dry stored. Installation $40 if I brought in the rims which is less then an hour’s work to remove and mount; or less then $150. I will let them go for $800 firm on a vintage tire basis. And for those that have picked up on the pin missing on the front axle, I noticed it when I got home due to the lack of time to check things out when leaving because of store closing hours; you don’t have to email me about that, thanks.
