$7k for a 2 owner, 5 year old bike with 40k, that's been "tipped over".

it doesn't even have junk value as a whole, it should be parted out.
This is actually kind of interesting. I still struggle to understand to understand the whole blue plate/green plate thing... is the fact that it's blue plated worth something? How much? Is it actually transferable?
Also they've re-listed it more recently for $500 less.
As of October 13 2007 - any bike that came with a label "FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY" affixed to it can no longer be converted to be blue (street) plated.
Green plate = off road use only
Blue plate = Road legal.

This is really common with 250/300 ads. They also don't have UVIP, and many of these idiots expect to sell the bike with money owing on the title.
It's a well cared for Hurricane with new tires, for $2600, it's not a crazy price, even at 80,000km.
I think he posted it for the $650 tires. Even paying for tax, shipping, and install I don't see how they could cost that much.
