Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

For a bike that's brand new and been sitting in his man cave with no fuel, he sure can't take a good, clear photo

"2000 Ducati SS 900 Super Sport - Low KMs!

Great condition - only 7300 miles!"

He also forgot to mention on his $7,500, 14 year old motorcycle: Crashed at least once, smashed up the fairing on one side, broke both front turn signals, neglected the front brake fluid, lost the front sprocket cover, imported the bike from the US, removed the clutch cover completely, removed the rear hugger (haha what?)

But, great condition otherwise I'm sure!

...and it's still for sale!

I asked him he was asking $4K more than brand new.
He said he has numerous upgrades, Freight, PDI, financing and taxes and he is into it for $10K.
I then offered him a basement apartment for rent as his ad states if he doesn't sell his wife is going to kick him out.

he responded "you are going to have a bad time if you think you can get one for less".

I've been emailing him listings under $5K , about 12 so far. This guy is not serious.

I think it's just new riders failing to understand that their handlebar streamers do not actually increase the value of the bike

And almost every ninja 300, the people are asking for their taxes and financing they paid on the bike back because they think you don't need to pay tax on a used motorcycle.
