Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Asking too much is offensive. The reality is that these bikes do not sell. After a few months of holding out, they get hit with reality.
If you go see a bike, with an argument for a fair price, in person, you will likely get it.
Rule of thumb, 20% off purchase price first year, 10% every year after. There are online Kelly blue book values for bikes, just adjust for the dollar value and 10 percent more for the CDN market. Accessories and upgrades, no value. If they don't agree, tell them to sell that stuff off away from the bike. This is why you always keep the stock parts.

Remind the seller that most warranties are expired after 12 months.

She's pretty hot... I'd slam it lol

He's definitely off his rocker but it seems to be the m.o. of every 300 seller on kijiji. That's why I just said screw it and bought one brand new. Pretty much only paid "taxes" on their prices and got something I didn't have to worry about having been mistreated, etc

and also the reason I went out of province to get a bike. Only $400 to ship from the East Coast. Saved a ton in Ontario "Markup and Recovery" fees ;-) lol.

I helped a friend buy a Ninja 300.

New, $5400, +, +, + came out to 7 grand out the door.

He found a nice 2013 with 4500km, listed at $5200, he bought it for $4400, paid tax on $3000. He was the only person who showed up to see the bike, and with actual money.

Never pays to buy new unless you need to finance, then you really overpay.

Lol

I might need to consider doing that if I decide to upgrade in a few years (I still have a lot to learn with the 300). Didn't figure it was that cheap to get it shipped, considering how much it costs to get it transported locally.

Yep, 3 day delivery to door to door from Nova Scotia. The bike was from a dealership and it was packed in the factory crate too. Saved a decent amount of $$ to make it worth it too.

Sweet. So I'm assuming you had to assemble or did you get someone local to assemble?
