They go for $10-$13k for non-tracked low mileage examples. $16k for a tracked 749r is incredibly high

I think he's referring to the first link, which is for $1875 - ridiculous for a bike which "needs new tank, has new battery, and tune up," and judging from the photos, has sat outside for multiple winters. It will take a lot of money to get it to proper running standards. IMO, sell for parts...
 
Do these overbuilt, high-dollar custom things ever change owners? That can't possibly happen. Every last one of them is butt-ugly to everyone but its original owner.

They must eventually sell, like when the owner dies and the kids inherit it and sell it for a price that an emotionally unattached person would ask.
 
i have a 125...and it is nothing like that monstrosity. that looks hand painted by a 6 year old. who in their right mind would think that would look good? i can understand damage and white pieces or all white bike but wtf

I know the chick who owns that bike... Steph.. That was at the motorcycle show at the International Center the past two years. Would buy it for my woman, but it's overpriced... The paint job didn't cost that much lol (because of who she's with/knows)

If you guys noticed all the stretched GSXR's and CBR's with the crazy paint jobs at the show.... Same shop did hers.. it's a great quality paint job to be honest.

the quality might be good but that design is awful

is this the type of design that passes for a females bike in the biking world? sorry im a noob so i don't know much but im sure i have an female artist friend who could come up with something better in minutes. im gonna save and show her this and hope she doesn't hit me for upsetting her.
