Streetsville Sunday Rides

Good ride, thanks for the great hosts on both Saturday and Sunday!!! I showed Robyn a picture of your spare room and she said that she is never coming over.

Ahhh ....more good times eh??
Great turnout with great peeps!!

Special thanks to Babow for hosting us and putting on a fabulous BBQ!!:p He is truly a Master Chef !!...(Maxspeed was also doing a fantastic job!!!)

I'm glad we headed over to the bandathon...it was great to see some friends over there and look forward to seeing them and others at RFS!!:)

The pics infront of the downtown skyline will be awesome....Babette has to share those with us....next ones will be as Babow says with the sunsetting over the downtown skyline.
Never did see a_rob...did he hit up the drink show ???...or the sex show???

See ya all in the am at Babows and Babettes place for 10am (no streetsville meet due to the rds being shutdown for bread and honey festival)...

Think I heard something about steaks with eggs benedict for breakfast...hehehe;)

Yea i was at the drinks show. Then a bar, then an after hours bar.
Safe to say i was in no condition to be operating a motor vehicle!!!

ps, has anyone else heard an engaged woman refer to her wedding day as "a countdown to when I'm off the market?"
That's odd no?

Is she hot? if so then try to pick her up...judging by her statement even though she is engaged she is still on the market.

As soon as i saw "Bride" on the back of her bridal shirt i backed off.
I figure peoples wives are like their bikes. They're going to be ****** if a stranger takes them for a ride!
One would assume that they should be off the market once someone puts down a deposit...

Ah well.
On a different note,
This Friday I'll be turning 28 and will most likely be heading to the opener of the Toronto International Burlesque show,

Sunday I'm keen to head out to the gun range. Am thinking heading out early and then going for some twisties on the way home. Hopefully miss the big crowd on the TFB ride.

Got my suit from velocity today. Fits like a glove :)

sorry cut out quickly on Sunday the food looked awesome . Finally able to eat at 6pm tonight!
Good to see you all and have a great ride. Love those northern roads. My wife bailed on Parry sound so may be going on my own planning to book friday off and ride up. Chris are you heading up Friday? I'll PM you

Mike any dates in mind for the north 0f Sudbury ride? Thanks to you and Alexis for Sunday morning!

I'll say Happy Birthday now cause I wont see u on Friday but sounds like a hoot!
What time u planning to ride to gun range going early sounds like a good idea, might join you. PS if it says 'bride' my advice is catch and release quickly before any harm may occur

Glad you had fun in the hills and sorry for teasing you with the food!

I'm not doing the gun thing, instead.... i'm doing the WROAR ride....seems a little more positive than guns.
How about BBOYZ Oakville Bandit....or has the doctor banned ya from those too !!..hahaha:p;)

hope to be at BBoyz 730-8ish - going to try the burritos for sure. Forgot you had mentioned the wroar, maybe should do that one instead, good cause.

im going drag racing saturday and shooting sunday. should be a really fun weekend. going to try and get up real early and make it to the gun club first thing in the morning.

Had a great time on Sunday. That is a great route. Missed out on Mike's dinner....I like his cooking :(

Oakville....I'm not sure what my plans are for making it up to Parry Sound, but I booked both the Thursday and Friday off. That way I can spend the whole day getting there, and have a whole day there before everyone shows up. :) I'm staying at Trappers (July 8-10), but my buddy Geller is next door at Georgian Inn. I still haven't contacted him to see what day he is going up and if he is planning on taking the long way. We usually have about 20 in our group. Usually about 2000 sport bikes for the Thunder Run on Sat evening.

hahaha !! too funny ...you must mean like the crack of noon or something!!
maybe you would be better off just staying awake for another hour or two then going..?

So are you guys coming to the SBR? Get a room at Trappers for Friday and Sat night. Share it with someone. Ride all day, party all night. Even the ride there and back are good if you know the right roads. ;)

Hotel costs = $45 each per night
Food costs = $60 My room had a fridge and I bought food at the grocery store for the weekend. Went out for breakfast everyday...occasionally for dinner.
Souvenier and spending money = $0 ...... There aren't any vendors or little booths selling stuff and nothing to attract the 'non rider' that is bored and looking for something to do. If you want that, the Bike Show in TO is better. Everyone that is there, is there to RIDE!!!
Gas = $160 This is the biggest expense since you will spend so much time riding the twisties in the Muskoka area. Best roads in ON

Make sure your tires are good enough to do 1,500-2,000 km's and be prepared to ride during the day, and party all night.

who is up for drag racing this saturday. i am thinking of leaving streetsville timmies at 9am. it was lots of fun last year.

on sunday i am riding to the shooting range open house. leaving streetsville timmies at 8 30am. hope to get there just after they open.

I'm planning to do the SBR have booked Friday off to ride up, and will look into hotel booking shortly.
Have not done a lot of riding in the area so looking forward to riding all day! Partying all night , well, I always ride at my own pace so as not to get over my head, have similar approach to the after riding as well - its at my pace, same reason, so as not to get over my head!
