So whos up for a ride this weekend? red_zedder you still keen to head to blue mountains or calabogie?

Sat looks like it might get a lil rain, sunday looks mostly clear.

Yup I'm up,
just ripped apart my bike to carry out valve clearance inspection / adjustment.

Need to review findings with an expert as I'm on the edge with most of my exhaust clearances so I can't rebuild as of yet but, expect to be ready on Sunday even if I have to strip more to adjust shims.
 
I'm back online and ready to ride.
Any bodies wantin to ride? ...Weather will be good !
 
Is this M1 friendly. I dont mind keeping a good pace, but dont want to use the highway cause i dont want to get in trouble.

Anyone got a route to ride in mind?

Great ride!

I'm sure my front cylinder was shot from the rain, I think I didn't seal the cap all the way in or put a lot of dielectric grease from when I changed my plugs. I was trying to fiddle with my idle knob halfway through back home but I couldn't feel it .
 
fun ride. i have been home for about 45 minutes and i am almost dry. hope everyone made it home ok.

Crap that was a lot of rain!
I'm headin straight for a hot shower cause I'm not totally soaked yet (I have a dry spot). Too bad we got caught up in that rain...other than that it was another great ride.
I'm already lookin foward to our next ride...maybe 507, 508, 518, Elephant lake and that general area.
 
Great ride guys. I am soaked to the bone. That rain was brutal. However, the best part of it all is that after riding 5 hours in the rain, I get home and it stops raining 10 minutes later.

Me and a_rob took upper middle across instead of Dundas in case you thought we binned it or something lol.

Remember for next time Rick: FULL TANK, empty bladder. :D

I'm glad you made it home OK. That everybody is OK. And yes: next time I gone have a FULL TANK of gas (not onlt 2/3). Even with this crazy rain it was well worted. Thanks guys for a great company.
 
Great ride today guys!

well the ride up atleast! ;)

The last part of the ride was brutal! After mississugaga it turned into what seemed like a monsoon. I could barely see *laughs* ended up tucking in behind a bus and following its tail lights all the way into the city.

Made it home though!.
 
is anyone still thinking of going for a ride this thursday. wouldnt mind going for a good ride. maybe up to the 507.

I can't go Thurs...if you guys go do Elephant Lk and Peterson as well.
I'm still dryin out from the last rain run home, (boots , jacket , gloves...)
My jacket is still damp but now less than 45 lbs!
